Tame Impala. One More Year

I coded this album cover for Tame Impala’s One More Year using the Processing app. I listened to this song often during the beginning of Covid-19. The concept was inspired by the lyrics, “Our minds were racing and time went slow” and “We’re on a roller coaster stuck on it’s loop-de-loop”. I wanted to depict this idea of our minds racing but being stuck on it’s loop-de-loop with the frequent change of colors and lyrics. The idea of both words and shapes being stacked as well as their size getting bigger or smaller represents how our minds are racing but also stuck in one place.
